Brigitte Coudrain-20th Century French Etching and Aquatint– Lemon and Thistle

A modern etching by Brigitte Coudrain (French, b. 1934),signed in pencil at lower right and numbered 23/50 at lower left. A pencilednote on the verso identifies the work as “Coudrain – Lemon + Thistle.” Coudrainis a French engraver, painter, and illustrator who studied with JohnnyFriedlaender and became known for lyrical still lifes, botanical imagery, andabstracted compositions in etching and aquatint. Her work is held in numerouspublic collections.

The print is in good condition overall. The image arearemains intact. The sheet shows minor handling marks, and there are visiblewater stains and foxing on the verso. Please refer to the pictures forcondition.
