An engraving of Strawberry Hill, the mansion of Horace Walpole (1717-1797), 4th Earl of Orford. It was engraved by James Newton (1748-1804) after Edward Edwards (1738-1806). The engraving was produced for Walpole’s A Description of the Villa of Horace Walpole at Strawberry Hill (Strawberry Hill Press, 1784–1790), the lavish catalogue detailing his collection and architecture.
