Kamigamo Shrine-Nenjiro Inagaki-Japanese Color Woodblock- Mid 20th Century Kyoto Landscape
Nenjiro Inagaki (1902–1963) was a Kyoto-born Japanese painter, printmaker, and textile designer. He studied at the Kyoto City University of Arts.
This color woodblock print is titled “Kamigamo Shrine,” depicting a stylized shrine-and-garden landscape with layered silhouettes, architectural forms, and softly blended color fields—an elegant mid-century modern Kyoto scene.
The print is in good condition overall with a strong, clean presentation. Noted issue: there are three small tape-residue marks along the top edge, consistent with prior mounting. Unframed, loose, and not mounted.
