80s-Dali Museum Phyllis Lucas Collection Poster-Bullfight No.5-Good Condition
These large offset-lithograph posters were produced by the legendary Phyllis Lucas Gallery in NYC in 1984 for the Lucas Collection Exhibition in 1985 at the Salvador Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida. The image is based on Dalí’s painting “Picador” from 1966 Tauromachie (Bullfight) series. The Phyllis Lucas Gallery had a long-term partnership and friendship with Salvador Dalí, and in the late 20th century they published numerous limited-edition lithographs and posters based on his original works.
Posters in this lot are in good condition. The edges and corners may show only minor wear and light handling marks.
